The Magimix Citiz and Milk boasts a slim compact design and uses the Nespresso Grand Crus capsules (sample with each machine). The machine has an ergonomic capsule insertion system with automatic ejection of used capsules, making it clean and easy to maintain. Just pop in a Nespresso capsule, choose large or small and your espresso or cappucino is produced in no time. It’s simple and small, giving it a minimalist elegance, and easier to use than almost any other machine, thanks to the ‘Aerocinno’ system.
There is also a semi-automatic de-scale programme, a folding adjustable cup support, programmable water quantity control for small or large cups, mugs or latte glasses and an integrated aeroccino frothing device for cappuccinos and lattes You can also froth cold milk for frappuccinos too. The machine also has an energy saving automatic switch off after 30 minutes of inacivity. The machine has a 19 bar pressure system with thermoblock instant water heating system, a removable 1 litre water tank, used capsule container, and a drip tray and is capable of using all 16 varieties of the Nespresso capsules.
- Compact brewing unit
- Folding cup support for all sizes cups & mugs
- Semi-automatic de-scale programme
- Integrated aeroccino frothing device
Will also froth cold milk - 19 bar pressure system
- Removable 1.0 litre water tank
- Uses all varieties of Nespresso Grand Crus capsules
Overall a very competent machine for the price if you’re looking for a hassle-free simple to use machine that produces a pretty good espresso or cappuccino. The only downside is the ‘Aeroccino’ system which, although providing excellent ease of use, may disappoint as it doesn’t produce milk froth at a high enough temperature for some. A minor niggle though as the Magimix Citiz is an otherwise very good machine.
Negative consumer comments:
-
Drip tray is tricky to remove without spilling the contents.
-
The Nespresso capsules are quite expensive.
